This old style farmhouse kitchen I designed fits perfectly in this colonial home owned by a wonderful family in Litchfield County, Connecticut. A fire had badly damaged much of the structure, but wanting to preserve as much of the home’s historical integrity as we could, we repurposed what pieces we could salvage, reclaiming as much as possible. The charming results are pictured in the gallery. The classically proportioned design, along with a neutral palette and wood flooring and cabinetry, flows nicely with the rest of the home’s design.
