Ralph Thomas Walker, 1889-1972, was a prominent architect of his time.  Although not widely recognized, he is known for 1 Wall Street and the Barclay-Vesey building.  Another project of his, Walker Tower (built in 1929) has been turned into 50 luxury condominiums.
